Tendering & Quantity Survey Engineer (Civil Engineering)
- Location : Kolkata

Key Responsibilities :
- Study tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and pre-bid queries.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for various civil works.
- Liaise with vendors/subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and quotations.
- Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and valuation of variations during execution.
- Analyze tender documents and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with estimation, design, procurement, and project teams to prepare bid submissions.
- Monitor tender opportunities and evaluate bid/no-bid decisions.
- Ensure all submissions are compliant, timely, and of high quality.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in tendering and quantity surveying within the construction/infrastructure sector.
- In-depth understanding of civil engineering projects and government/private procurement processes.
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication along with negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Good understanding of standard methods of measurement and contract terms.
Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and execute civil engineering works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth workflow.
- Monitor and report progress, site issues, and material requirements.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Review construction drawings and suggest modifications, if necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory norms during execution.

- Support project billing and quantity verification as per executed works.
Requirements :
- Proven on-site experience in civil construction/infrastructure projects.

Assistant Manager - HR

Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience in statutory compliances including PF, ESI, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, and labour law adherence.
- Practical working knowledge of payroll processing, salary structuring, and statutory deductions.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software for attendance, leave, and payroll inputs.
- Additional certification in Payroll Management, Labour Laws, or Compliance will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end payroll coordination including attendance finalization, leave reconciliation, salary inputs, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of PF, ESI, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory compliances as applicable.
- Prepare and verify challans, ECR files, returns, and compliance reports for PF, ESI, and other statutory bodies.
- Coordinate with consultants, payroll vendors, and auditors for monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings.
- Maintain and update employee master data, wage structures, and statutory registers in HRMS and physical records.
- Handle PF and ESI registrations, UAN linking, KYC verification, transfers, withdrawals, and employee-related statutory queries.
- Monitor compliance under applicable labour laws such as Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, and Shops & Establishment Act.
- Ensure statutory timelines are strictly adhered to and maintain proper documentation for inspections and audits.
- Prepare HR and payroll MIS reports for management including compliance status, headcount, wage analysis, and statutory summaries.
- Support audits, inspections, and liaison with labour authorities, PF/ESI departments, and external agencies.
- Draft and implement HR policies related to wages, attendance, leave, overtime, and statutory compliance.
- Address employee grievances related to payroll discrepancies, deductions, statutory benefits, and compliance matters.
- Ensure exit compliance including full & final settlement, statutory calculations, and documentation.
Key Skills Required :
- Strong practical knowledge of PF, ESI, payroll processing, and statutory compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in challan generation, ECR uploads, and statutory return filing.
- High accuracy and attention to detail in payroll and compliance-related work.
- Proficiency in HRMS and payroll software, including Excel-based payroll reconciliations.
- Sound understanding of labour laws and statutory reporting requirements.
- Excellent documentation, MIS reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage confidential payroll and employee data with discretion.
- Proactive approach with the ability to independently manage compliance timelines and audits.
